About Creating New Pathways
Creating New Pathways was formed by owner and founder Rita Mills in 2015. An educational professional with a background in child development, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, multiple specialized training's, including Lindamood-Bell, Read Naturally, and TESOL, she had been working with children for 7 years before CNP was created. Working both in and alongside schools as well as private tutoring sessions, she created a math program which led to the beginning of Creating New Pathways.

Creating New Pathways Math was formed after Rita, who had been working with children for many years, realized that the math programs she had been working with had limited results upon children who have dyslexia. She developed a system to help children visualize numbers and see patterns without symbols. Immediate results were seen when she worked directly with dyslexic children aged 6-9 of both genders who struggled with math. This was the impetus for the Creating New Pathways Math Program.
